Balancing purpose with profit, we are committed to low impact practices. We believe it is incredibly important to be as transparent as possible with how we work. Here are some of Blue Hare Films’ green commitments…
On Location
Both at home and on location, we make every effort to ensure we leave a minimal footprint. We try to eat seasonal, local and sustainable foods, our diets are mainly plant based and single use plastics are avoided as much as possible. We will provide reusable coffee cups and water bottles to crew/ contributors and avoid buying bottled water where possible.
Waste reduction
We try to be paperless in how we work- it’s good for us and the planet. We also encourage online meetings as opposed to travelling in person. Airline travel will be avoided where possible and our car is a hybrid which helps in reducing our footprint when we can’t use public transport (such as when moving a lot of equipment).
